These are samples from a series of illustrations I did for the Japanese mobile card game, Tenka Touitsu Chronicle. Each card represents either a historical figure or the personification of a local specialty.

The following are progress shots of the Ishii Fudeko illustration. The character was described as a a young and energetic upper class lady from the Meiji period (holding a wine glass as suggested by the client). Row 1 contains three thumbnails showing different character poses. Highlighted parts in the detailed drawings are changes requested by the client.
